Note: We do not need a clearance letter now- unless you are completing this form as a condition of an accepted proposal. But when you do propose services, please be sure to provide a clearance letter before the work is scheduled to begin. If you do not provide a clearance letter or do not maintain an “advance clearance” status (so we may obtain a clearance letter directly), your contract may be postponed until a clearance letter is provided.

If you do not provide information that we can validate with the Canada Revenue Agency, our client may refuse to pay the GST portion of any or all invoices you provide.

Note: Businesses and service providers who are not registered for GST must not charge GST on their invoices- even if they plan to register or are required to register but haven't done so yet. If you register for GST later, be sure to proactively advise us of your change in status so that we do not flag the additional charge on your invoice as fraudulent.
